I’m Ian, a product designer who enjoys turning ambiguous problems into actionable solutions in a fast paced environment. I’m also a first-gen immigrant. Getting here required persistence, adaptability, and a willingness to figure things out without a clear playbook. That experience has shaped how I work: I’m comfortable navigating uncertainty, aligning people with different perspectives, and turning fuzzy visions into clear, user-centered product direction.
At Google, I design at the intersection of UX, AI, and platform thinking, leading cross-functional efforts across mobile and desktop. I care deeply about craft, but I measure success by impact, earning user trust, making principled tradeoffs, and shipping solutions that feel intentional, human, and built to last.
